About our 30-Yard Roll-Off Dumpsters

A 30-yard dumpster is a roll-off bin that we deliver to your residence or business. Thirty-yard roll-offs are the dumpster size of choice for builders and contractors doing large scale projects. The dumpster holds 30-cubic yards, which is roughly equivalent to 9 pickup truck loads.

30-Yard Dumpster Dimensions

Our 30-yard dumpsters are designed to be placed on a driveway or building site, providing a convenient and accessible solution for construction waste and debris. These dumpsters are constructed with welded steel and designed to withstand the demands of a commercial job site.

Perfect for medium-sized projects, our 30-yard roll-offs generally measure 20′ long, 8′ wide, and 6′ tall. We also offer a smaller light-duty dumpster that is perfect for small urban projects with space limitations. The light duty dumpster is 12’x8’x3’.

The dimensions of a 30-yard dumpster make it suitable for larger residential or medium commercial projects, such as full remodels or multi-room makeovers, flooring projects and roofing jobs.

Capacity and Suitability for Various Projects

Our roll-off dumpsters are the perfect solution for a wide range of projects, making them a great choice for residential remodels, junk clean-up, disaster recovery, and property rehabilitation. With varying sizes available, we can accommodate any project, big or small.

For smaller projects like residential remodels or junk clean-up, we also offer light duty roll-offs in 6-yard, 8-yard and 10-yard sizes. Looking for something even smaller? Our 3-yard TUBS are great for tight spaces.

Dumpster Rental Checklist

Before renting a 30-yard dumpster there are a few important things to consider:

  • Check your space.
The 30-yard size necessitates a designated area for placement. Please ensure that there are no obstructions such as overhanging trees or electrical wires that could prevent the driver accessing your property.

  • Learn the rules.
Check if your local ordinances or rules restrict the use of roll-off dumpsters. Some communities have guidelines governing the placement and duration of dumpster rentals.

  • Avoid restricted items.
Certain materials such as soil, household hazardous waste, liquids, and lithium batteries are not allowed in a standard dumpster, so be sure to discuss with us your specific needs.

  • Know your weight limits.
Consider the weight of the waste you intend to dispose of, as there are restrictions on the maximum weight allowed for a 30-yard dumpster. Speak to our customer service representative for weight allowance.
