Job Description

A General Laborer is responsible for, operating equipment and machinery to process and to move scrap metal, performing semi-skilled maintenance tasks and participating in all aspects of site grounds maintenance.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are necessary to be considered for the position.

  • Ability to work Saturdays
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of scrap metal recycling industry a plus
  • Previous forklift/skidsteer experience preferred
